Workverse is a productivity and work management app designed to help individuals and teams organise tasks, streamline workflows, and stay focused throughout their day.
This project involved designing the app interface from scratch—defining the user experience, visual direction, and core features that make productivity feel simple, intuitive, and enjoyable.
My design process was to study existing productivity tools to identify the existing pain points. A key objective for Workverse was to create an experience that feels more enjoyable and less overwhelming than many existing productivity apps. While many tools focus heavily on functionality, they often sacrifice emotional experience—resulting in platforms that feel cluttered, stressful, or overly rigid.
One of the key features that distinguishes Workverse from traditional productivity apps is the introduction of customisable avatars. Users can create their own digital avatar within Workverse. Avatars can be personalised with hairstyles, outfits, colours, accessories and more.
Users can represent themselves in a way that feels creative and fun, making the app feel less like a corporate tool and more like “their own workspace.” Avatars bring warmth and personality, strengthening the team culture which will make the app more enjoyable.
